After a degree in theoretical physics at the University of Pisa, I did my Ph.D studies at the University of Paris-Sud in cosmological parameter estimation with Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) data of the ESA Planck satellite. I then joined the SKA Observatory (SKAO) project in South Africa where I spent three years at the Centre for Radio Cosmology at the University of the Western Cape working on foreground simulations for the Epoch of Reionization and the Cosmic Dawn, and I started working on Intensity Mapping with the 21cm line.
I then moved back to Europe, where I keep working on SKAO as a postdoctoral fellow at INAF Trieste, then at ETH Zurich. In 2023, I joined the Observatoire de la Cote d'Azur as an Astronome Adjointe.
I am a member of the MeerKLASS Collaboration (https://meerklass.org/team.html), I have been appointed in 2024 Steering Team member and Data Processing Lead.
Since 2021, I am the SKA Cosmology Scicne Working Group co-chair (https://www.skao.int/en/science-users/science-working-groups/104/cosmology)
I am a member of the Large-aperture Experiment to Detect the Dark Ages (LEDA) since 2018, and a member of the Radio Experiment for the Analysis of Cosmic Hydrogen (REACH) since 2020. I am also a member of Euclid since 2022.
